Do you ever feel like people are trying to start a conversation, but you don’t have the desire or energy to engage?

The average person speaks around 16,000 words each day. A lot of these words are wasted on small talk and un-necessary conversations.

In social situations, we are often bombarded with people who want to make small talk. However, sometimes we just don’t have the desire or energy to engage in these lengthy, unnecessary conversations. In these cases, it is useful to have a few go-to phrases that will end the conversation quickly.

Here are three sentences I often use to politely end a conversation:

“Hello.”

“Thank you.”

“Cheers.”

Using one of these phrases is a quick and easy way to end a conversation that you are not interested in continuing.

The first sentence you can use is “hello.” This is a great way to start a conversation, but it can also be used to end one. If you’re not interested in talking, simply say “hello” and walk away.

The second sentence you can use is “thank you.” This is a great way to end a conversation. Simply thank the person for their time and walk away.

The third and final sentence you can use is “cheers.” This is a great way to end a conversation on a positive note. Simply thank the person for their time and say “cheers” and walk away.

Again the three phrases you can use to end a conversation quickly and easily. “Hello.” “Thank you.” “Cheers.”

Give it a try and let me know how it works for you.
