What If We Lived In A More Positive World

We can if we choose to: but individually have to make the choice.

The Daily News Offers Little Hope

The flow of information from the daily news is fraught with mostly negative events. Sometimes, and it’s rare, we see something reported, which is positive.

We know that the negative story will attract more eyeballs. And creates a negative feeling or causes emotions an upheaval.

The current version of reporting, and less likely to change, the news shows us there is no sign or hope of our world view getting any better.

Deception has a way with words

We have conspiracies theories and misinformation flowing freely at such a high rate that it’s almost unstoppable.

No algorithms can filter the information, so the sender of the information feels safe in sending the misinformation. They must believe that no one will ever find out. If they get discovered, there are no consequence. Or they say everyone is doing it.

War as we have seen in the past have moved from weapons made of metal to weapons of words.

Deception is the new art of wars. Who can out deceive one another? Who can out manipulate another with words?

But what if people took the time to treat others with a “Hello”?

What if you one time in your busy schedule, you said “Hello” to a stranger?

I have, and the person usually will seem excited and then breaks into a smile.

Not that difficult to examine the scene around you for that one opportunity to change their day good, just one person per day.

And if someone saw what you were doing and copied that action.

And someone copied the two of you. Then after a while the law of compounding would take effect over time to create a better world.
